Is It Really Pure Copper?
Try the fridge-magnet test. Pure copper isn't magnetic, so a magnet won't hold on to it.

I tried copper before and wasn't impressed. Why would yours be different?
Chances are, what you had wasn't solid copper.
Much of the "copper" jewelry sold online is a thin copper-colored coat over steel or zinc. Your skin only ever touched the coating.
Ours is 99.9% copper all the way through. We cut it from solid sheet, so there's nothing underneath to wear through.

Does wearing copper actually do anything?
We get asked that a lot, and we'll answer you straight.
People have worn copper for thousands of years, long before anyone studied it.
We don't make promises about what it will do for you. What we can tell you is that many of the women who bought a piece from us years ago still order from us today.
They wear it because they love how it looks and feels. That has always been enough for the three of us.
Has science proven anything?
The studies so far are mixed, and we won't pretend otherwise.
What nobody argues about is the history. Copper has been worn on nearly every continent for more than 3,000 years.
Most of our customers found us the same way: they tried other things first, then gave copper a fair try.
Can I get it wet?
Yes. Wash the dishes, take a shower, work in the garden.
Water won't hurt solid copper. A few honest notes:
- Salt water and pool chlorine darken it faster
- That darker color is natural patina, not damage
- Rinse it in fresh water and dry it with a towel if you like it shiny
Otherwise, just wear it and forget about it.
Why pay more than for a copper bracelet at the mall?
Fair question. Copper isn't a precious metal.
You're paying for solid 99.9% copper, cut from sheet and shaped one at a time by hand. That's slow work, and we never sped it up with plated metal or factory blanks.
Cheap plated bracelets cost a few dollars for a reason. Ours aren't one of them.
